Andie Dobson, 13
“I am so excited to go on this missions trip because I will get a great perspective on what the world around me is like and what others are going through. I am looking forward to walking like Jesus and ministering to others just like He has called us to do. I believe this trip will be an incredible life experience that I will never forget and would always be able to draw from and to learn from for future opportunities.”
Mylie Dobson, 15
“My goal in life is to touch as many hearts as possible and I’m a natural born social leader. I’m bursting with excitement in being able to talk with others about the gospel and feel it is my calling to lead broken hearts to God’s workshop, I plant seeds in God’s children so he can nourish them to life… Can’t wait!!!”
Lilli Gann, 14
“I am so excited to be a part of this mission. I love to interact with people and I try to spread a little sunshine wherever I go. This will be my first mission trip and I am looking forward to doing projects that make people’s lives better- in the name of Jesus. I hope that our team will grow closer to God, to each other, and to the communities that we will be serving.”
Jacob Lowrie, 18
“I am a senior at Decatur High School. In the fall, I will be attending Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. I am so fortunate to be able to go on this mission trip, and I hope that I can learn more about the gospel and create a closer connection with God. I know that I will take everything I have learned from CrossRoads and EMERGE into the next chapter of my life.”
Alexis McBride, 18
“I am a senior at Decatur High School. I am so excited to be going to Oklahoma City to serve both the community and the Lord alongside my friends! On this trip my goal is to grow closer to Jesus and become bold with my faith, This is important to me so that I have a deep rooted faith before I start college in the fall this year! (Go Texans!) I am looking forward to growing stronger and stepping outside of my comfort zone as I gain new experiences. Thank you for helping to fund this trip and God bless!”
Abigail McBride, 18
“I am a senior at Decatur High School. This is my first mission trip and I am super excited! I love that we are going to help people by meeting physical needs and fulfilling their spiritual needs. I believe this is going to be a great way for me learn how to love people like Jesus loves people, which is something I’m really looking forward to.”
Bree Rundle, 18
“I am a senior at Decatur High School. I want to pursue mission throughout college and afterward so this mission trip will be a perfect opportunity to start. I’ve always felt a tug on my heart to help people in need and I look forward to growing in my relationship with the Lord and the people I encounter. From this trip, I look froward to doing the Lord’s work and looking at His creation with more of a Kingdom mindset. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to serve the Lord!!!”
Jagar Simmons, 14
“I love the outdoors and helping others. I want to go on this mission trip because I want to express my love for God by serving Him and others.”
Beckham Taylor, 13
“I love doing building and construction projects. I am very excited to go on this mission trip so I can share the gospel with others.”
Callum Taylor, 13
“I love talking to God and building my relationship with him. I am glad I get to go on this mission trip so that I am able to help others and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to others.”
Eisley Taylor, 16
“I wanted to go on this mission trip because I’ve always seen God work in my own life and kept his message in my own little bubble. I hope the Lord will open my eyes to a new perspective and show me a different aspect of serving him. One that would maybe inspire me to do more work like this in the future or just show my heart how powerful and truly amazing he is. This trip would be my opportunity to reach out to others and not only share that love that comes from Jesus, but the hope that comes through him and ONLY him!”
Van Taylor, 18
“I am a senior in high school and I am looking forward to going on my first mission trip this summer. I hope to learn as much as possible through this opportunity. I am very excited to build relationships and serve the community in Oklahoma City.”
