LIFE
Jennifer has been part of Crossroads since 2013 when her family was still new to Decatur. She and Jonathan have been married 21 years and have two children, Jed is starting college at University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma (GO BRONCHOS) and Jocelyn will be a senior at Decatur High School (GO EAGLES)! Growing up Jenn lived in Wichita Falls, Texas during her childhood years and finished high school in Odessa, Texas. She learned to love the Lord and His church at an early age.
FAMILY
Jonathan and Jennifer met in 2001 while at Abilene Christian University where she pursued a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a minor in Bible and master’s from Tarleton State University in Education. She has worked in speech therapy, preschool education, elementary classrooms, and most recently has been right next door at Rann Elementary as a dyslexia therapist. Jenn is excited to use her experience in education and as a longtime CrossRoads Kids volunteer to help our growing community take steps to grow in faith.
PURPOSE
Jennifer is passionate about helping children and families build a solid foundation on Jesus and help them know the Lord and His Word. She is excited to disciple children and families, to increase biblical literacy and use her connections in the community to further His Kingdom. She is also passionate about getting our Crossroads family involved and excited about the amazing happenings with CrossRoads Kids so if you are looking for ways to connect, please reach out. Together, let’s will make the Lord’s faithfulness known through all generations.
PRAYER FOR CROSSROADS KIDS AND FAMILIES
I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen us all with power through his Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. And I pray that being rooted and established in love, together we may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
